Vacation! My kids were counting down the days for 2 months. Last week we packed the car--I do mean the car was PACKED!! With 4 kids, luggage, favorite blankets, pillow pets and teddy bears, fishing poles and boogie boards, an array of beach toys...well I'm sure you can imagine how long this list can go on, we had a hard time finding room to sit. It took us about an hour and a half to drive to Charlestown RI. We rented a beautiful cottage on Ninigret salt water lake, the ocean was a mere five minutes away. We went clamming, we canoed, we went fishing, we ate seafood, we went out for ice cream every night. I wish I could say i documented every moment, but I didn't. I was on vacation so my camera did not come out much. The last night there I took my kids to East Beach at sunset to make some beautiful memories, here are a few of my faves.

One more thing......
This post is titled Barefoot & Blackberry Free. I was barefoot all week. As for the balckberry I may have cheated and used it a little. While I was away my sister went into labor! So exciting! I spent the last day of vacation glued to my phone texting and awaiting the birth of my first niece. As soon as we arrived home I headed to the hospital to meet her and of course take her picture :)
